Simpler design ideas for mobile phones:

1. Get rid of the camera dot or the notch on the screen, it is ugly af—admit it, it is a crime against design. Bring back the basel if you have to, but do not mess with the sanctity of the rectangle. I don’t think a phone must have to have an edge to edge screen. Basel has its functional purpose. Basel helps to hold the phone properly while watching videos, playing games or drawing/typing in landscape mode. Why do we need a basel-less screen to begin with?

2. Design physical mechanical switches for turning off microphones, cameras and location services. So that no muthafaka can possibly keep listening or prying. It can be one switch that turns off all these, but it can’t be programmable, it has to be a physical cut of the connections.
